HANDS OVER is scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on November 13, 2026. That is the date shown on the Steam store and confirmed in ArtDock’s October 28 delay announcement.
The exact unlock hour has not been announced. Steam currently shows a calendar date, not a time. The countdown below stops at the start of November 13 in UTC and should be treated as a day marker, not a confirmed launch minute.

The short answer
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| PC release date | November 13, 2026 |
| Release type | Steam Early Access |
| Original date | October 30, 2026, announced October 9 |

Everything in that table comes from the Steam page or an official ArtDock announcement. Nothing is inferred from a countdown timer or a store placeholder.
Why the date moved
The release date has changed once.
- October 9, 2026: ArtDock announced an October 30 Early Access launch, timed for Halloween.
- October 28, 2026: the studio moved the launch to November 13, saying it needed two more weeks to fix issues identified during Steam Next Fest. The announcement cited player feedback, streams and gameplay videos.
- November 13, 2026: the current Early Access date.
ArtDock also said the launch would include a “special, generous discount” as an apology for the wait. The size of that discount and the base price are still unknown. Do not treat a store page without a price as evidence that the game will be free.
Platforms at a glance
| Platform | Status | Date |
|---|---|---|
| PC (Steam) | Early Access launch confirmed | November 13, 2026 |
| PlayStation | Announced | TBA |
| Xbox | Announced | TBA |
| Nintendo Switch | Announced | TBA |
The console versions were revealed in the official console announcement trailer at The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026. The trailer names PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. It does not name specific console generations, and ArtDock has not published console release windows.
That means a “PS5 release date” or “Switch 2 version” claim needs a source. The official material supports the platform family, not a specific SKU or date.
What “Early Access” means here
November 13 is not a 1.0 launch. ArtDock describes the Early Access version as a work in progress with the core match loop, multiplayer systems and card interactions in place. The studio expects to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months and plans to add more challenges, modes, cards, characters and customization.
The practical consequence: balance, content variety and online stability may change after launch. If you need a finished, content-complete game, waiting is a legitimate choice. If you want to play the table with friends and give feedback while it develops, the Early Access build is the intended entry point.
The Early Access page breaks down what is confirmed for launch and what is only planned.
Price and launch discount
No price is listed on Steam as of November 3, 2026. ArtDock has confirmed only that the launch will include a discount. It has not published the base price, the discount percentage, or regional pricing.
There is also no preorder option on the Steam page. Wishlisting is free and is the standard official way to be notified when the store opens.
What to do before November 13
- Wishlist the game on Steam. That is the official notification path for launch and pricing.
- Try the free demo. It is still listed on Steam as of November 2, 2026. The demo guide covers what it includes and how to find a group.
- Check your PC. The minimum is Windows 10/11, an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD FX-8350, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 960 or R9 280. See the full requirements page.
- Plan a five-player session. The game is built around up to five players online. If your group is smaller, read the multiplayer page before assuming a solo or local option exists.
- Add the date to your calendar. The downloadable calendar file uses an all-day event on November 13 because the unlock hour is unknown.
What about the console versions?
The console announcement is real, but it is not a console release date. ArtDock has not said whether the console versions will launch during Early Access, after 1.0, or later. It also has not said whether crossplay will connect PC and console players.
Those are separate questions with separate answers:
- Platforms: announced.
- Dates: not announced.
- Crossplay: not announced.
- Feature parity: not announced.
The multiplayer and crossplay page tracks the current status without filling the gaps.
The bottom line
If you are on PC and want to play at launch, the date to plan around is November 13, 2026. If you are on console, the honest answer is still “announced, date TBA.” If you are waiting for a finished version, ArtDock has not committed to a 1.0 date; the only public guidance is the 6–12 month Early Access estimate.
